Main Description: The British Purchased around 1000 of these carbines between 200 and 228 reported to be given to Canadian Militia, Reference "Defending the Dominion Canadian Military Rifles 1855 to 1955" By David W. Edgecomb. Right side of stock has Broad arrow WD Stamp. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable two position u notched rear sight, blued round barrel with Approx. 85 percent finish remaining, colour case hardened receiver, lever, back action lock with checkered spur hammer that functions, action retains some old grease requires cleaning, saddle ring and stud on left side, barrel and wrist of stock have partial US inspector marks. Two piece smooth full military wood stocks, forearm has a small crack at tip and left side, straight grip, smooth curved steel butt plate which retains some colour case hardening.

Wear: Metal would rate has Excellent due to marks and scratches on wood rated has Fine Condition. Metal finish shows some light pitted spots, rust speckles, handling marks and wear. Stocks show some marks, scratches and wear.
