An Omar Linares autograph. Autograph also includes an inscribed dedicated, “Para Jennifer de Omar Linares.” The autograph was given to the current owner at an All Star game attended in Cuba while she was a member of the press covering Jimmy Carter’s visit in 2002. 12.5 x 10 cm (4.9 x 3.9 inches). Provenance: Private American collection, Florida, United States. Omar Linares Izquierdo (born October 23, 1967 in San Juan y Martínez, Pinar del Río Province, Cuba) is a former Cuban baseball player. Linares, who played third base for the Cuban national team and for Pinar del Río and Vegueros in the Cuban National Series wearing the number 10 on his jersey, is considered one of the greatest Cuban players of all time.
