Great Britain c.1848 Military General Service Medal; CLASPS: Salamanca (22nd July, 1812), Badajoz (17th March – 6th April, 1812), & Ciudad Rodrigo (8th -19th January, 1812); NAMED: Richard P. Harris 7th Regiment of Foot ; 36mm. As a retrospective award for various military actions between 1793 and 1814, encompassing the French Revolutionary Wars, the Napoleonic Wars, and the Anglo-American War of 1812, the Military General Service Medal (MGSM) was awarded to surviving claimants of the British Army in 1848. Accompanied by copies of Private Richard Harris' military records. Medal is bright and well maintained with minimal wear or markings. Sticker along back of ribbon
