Lithograph. Featuring Canadian fields of grain and entitled 'fall.' Signed by Armand Paquette on lower right corner with series number 71/275. Armand Paquette was born in 1930 and grew up in Winnipeg's historical North End. His portraits of western Canadian life have earned him a loyal following among collectors. Always a keen observer of life around him, he finds inspiration in his recollections of the ordinary people and places of his experience. These people and everyday occurrences find their way into his paintings today. The heartwarming quality of his paintings is also present in his bronze sculptures. Paquette's three dimensional work is an extension of his painting, as if the figures have stepped from the canvas. Provenance: Private American collection (New York, United States).
